K – 8 Workshops

Alive – Kindergarten to 9

Workshop Description:
This dynamic workshop focuses on educators rejuvenating through the arts, staff well being and team building. We give great importance to student well being and to accomplish this we also need to focus on teacher well being.  This program allows educators to nurture their spirits with a relaxing day immersed in the arts through drumming, story, movement and visual arts with the theme of work/life balance.  The “Alive” workshop gives educators the opportunity to experience learning through the arts with inquiry-based learning, the way students do.  It is a powerful program that has the option of extending the learning through a Professional Learning Community (PLC) program or teacher/learning cycle in which teachers are supported in creating their own integrated unit for their students.  Margaret will teach demonstration lessons in those units once they are underway.
